Help design a more resilient, responsible, and future-ready world. As a member of STAER’s advisory practice, you’ll guide clients in aligning their operations and investments with sustainability principles, ESG frameworks, and climate resilience goals.

Purpose Statement

Advise public and private organizations on integrating sustainability, climate, and ESG strategies into decision-making, planning, and project delivery.

Primary Duties

Strategy & Advisory

  • Develop and implement sustainability and ESG roadmaps for clients and internal programs.

  • Conduct environmental and social risk assessments.

  • Align recommendations with frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and ISO 14001.

Policy & Reporting

  • Support preparation of ESG disclosures, sustainability reports, and impact assessments.

  • Advise on regulatory trends and compliance in sustainability and climate policy.

  • Translate technical findings into business-oriented summaries for decision-makers.

Project Delivery

  • Participate in infrastructure, energy, and urban development projects to ensure sustainable design and execution.

  • Integrate resilience and carbon-reduction criteria into feasibility and planning stages.

  • Monitor sustainability KPIs during project lifecycles.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate workshops with clients, investors, and public institutions.

  • Build partnerships with sustainability networks and NGOs.

  • Support awareness and training within STAER teams.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience — Must Haves

  • 3–7 years in sustainability, ESG consulting, or environmental management.

  • Strong analytical and project management skills.

  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and standards.

  • Experience in data collection and impact measurement.

  • Excellent written and presentation abilities for executive-level audiences.

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Quality and clarity of sustainability deliverables.

  • Timely completion of ESG assessments and reports.

  • Measurable reduction of environmental or social risks in supported projects.

  • Client satisfaction and repeat engagement.

  • Integration of sustainability KPIs across STAER operations.

Qualifications & Certificates

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or Business Management.

  • Certifications such as ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, GRI, or ESG Reporting Practitioner are an advantage.

  • Cross-sector experience (infrastructure, energy, or government) preferred.
